How many diets have you tried? I know – 40 years for me, remember?
The nutritional plan is important, but if you can’t then follow that plan consistently, it gets really frustrating, doesn’t it? We lose our motivation without some form of accountability for reaching the goal. It’s so easy to let our goals slide, isn’t it?
Follow this rabbit with me: For many women, there’s an added frustration. When you promise to do something for someone else, do you do it? But if you plan to do something for yourself? Yeah, probably not. We diminish our own goals as unimportant.
The secret tool for reaching goals: Accountability. When we know someone will ask us about our progress toward something we say we want, we are likely to stay on track. It’s not a flaw, it’s how we’re wired. Knowing that can make all the difference because it allows you to set things up to work for you.

I started walking because my dog needed it to heal after ACL surgery. I keep walking because all the dogs since are better and healthier puppies when they’ve had a walk.

Yes, I benefit from it as well, but by finding ways it can benefit others, it’s not just for me anymore. Do you see?
