So how are those resolutions going? Still in it to win it? Well done! Soon it will be second nature to you. Just keep doing it.
Or have you fallen in your quest? Okay, that’s part of learning, but if you’ve fallen, pick yourself up again. You can do this.
When resolutions come with a healthy dose of both enthusiasm and confidence, they can be maintained for a long time. If we start out wondering if we have enough desire or the ability to follow through, or if we have a fundamental belief that we’ll never get it done or we’ll just fail again, they are incredibly fragile.
Henry Ford said, “Whether you think you can or can’t, you’re right.”
Check your view on it. Do you believe you can or believe you can’t?
How can you shift your thinking more to ways you can achieve your goals, resolve the issues, and live according to that new way of thinking?
What do you need? Do you need support? Accountability? Help? Education of some sort?
You can do this. Assemble what you need to motivate and support you as you make changes. Change is a challenge – we’ve done it the other way for a long time. Doesn’t mean we are required to continue to do it that way.
