The key to reaching your goal is not the food — it’s the thousands of other little choices we make throughout our day. It’s the stress and overwhelm we feel as we go through our lives. It led to my most popular phrase when I speak to groups:
“Face your stuff, don’t stuff your face.”
There is more to it, of course, but when we face what is driving us to food for comfort or stress relief, we can resolve those issues rather than stuffing it down and following it with a food chaser. And if we aren’t eating for emotional reasons, it’s easier to make good choices, follow a nutrition plan, live in health, and reach our goals.
That’s why I created the Make It Happen program.
Every year I have clients who come to me who like the idea of losing weight but for whatever reason can’t be consistent or get the results they want. Maybe foods got boring. Maybe their weight loss plateaued, and they got frustrated or disheartened. Maybe they didn’t get the support from friends and family that they were expecting. Maybe they fell off the wagon again and just decided to stay off.

So what is the Program exactly?
You will get 8 One-to-One Sessions over 3 months: We’ll meet once in each of the first two weeks, and then meet every other week to help you stay on track but also balance on your own and begin to see your strength growing. This will provide accountability as well as tackle any issues that trip you along the way.
Week 1: Metabolic Typing process — personal evaluation, color-coded recommended foods for your body, and a sample menu.
Week 2: Follow up on the results and dive into your concerns.
Then we begin meeting every other week as suits the schedule.
